Q. What kind of companies do you work with?

A. We work with companies that have a product or service that is ideally sold through salespeople.  There are exceptions but in general, products or services that have sufficient margin to incentive salespeople, and an identifiable path to market, are a great fit for our services.

Q. What does it cost?

A.  See this link (Services and Pricing) for more information, but in general we participate in a percentage of the revenue that is realized from the sale of your product.  In some situations, a budget for marketing and collateral to support the sales efforts may be required.  Less frequently, a retainer to offset the costs of maintaining a sales force in the early stages may be required. Our focus is on profitably scaling up sales, with no unnecessary expenses and a focus on growing sales utilizing internal cash flow (as opposed to raising capital).

Q. What geographic areas do you cover?

A.  The majority of our engagements have focused on regional and national markets, and occasionally (as appropriate) international markets.  We can and will build the sales force and the channel strategies around the most appropriate geographic markets for your product.

Q.  How large does my company need to be?

A.  We are here to help your company grow. If you have a product that can be sold profitably, we are interested in exploring a working relationship.

In general, we work with companies that have potential for at least “seven digits” of top line revenue within a year.

If your product or service doesn’t meet that requirement, it is less likely that it is a fit.

If you have already achieved some level of sales and are primarily interested in accelerating growth and scaling up, we can add “our kerosene on the fire” and typically find those scenarios are a perfect fit.

Q. How long have you been in business? What companies have you worked with in the past and presently?

A.  VentureMe has been in business for several years. We are currently in joint ventures with engineering firms and our client list is a bit lengthy for a brief answer, but we would be happy to review success stories and case studies that are related to the industry your company is in.  (We have been involved in dozens of industries over the years.)
